By 8, I started a snow shoveling business for my neighbors, and I used the profits to make smart stock investments. I also took on various odd jobs to fuel my ventures.
My passion for music led me to create sound effects (Foley work) for Comedy Central. This experience ignited a desire to reach a wider audience. I built a website and used SEO strategies to boost its visibility, successfully establishing myself in the music industry. With big dreams but limited funds, I ventured to New York City, finding creative solutions for accommodation while chasing my entrepreneurial goals.
Embracing the sharing economy, I rented spare rooms in my apartment to travelers through a popular rental platform. This venture also led to the creation of a full-fledged SEO agency, which expanded to offer a range of digital services like PPC, social media marketing, affiliate marketing, and email campaigns. Despite experiencing tremendous success, the 2007 economic downturn demanded agility and resilience. I navigated these challenges by adapting my strategies.
Transitioning from entrepreneur to employee proved valuable. It broadened my skillset and deepened my understanding of business operations. This experience eventually led me to become an owner in a thriving company, culminating in a successful exit and new ventures.
Balancing personal milestones like starting a family with a relocation to Puerto Rico, I currently manage a diverse portfolio of businesses, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities for growth.
